New trends and plain weird posters.
Dear readers, following yesterday’s essay by Christopher Gerteis about the upcoming election, I couldn’t resist posting more election posters I found during my walks around Tokyo.
First, this slightly deranged look, a la mad professor (complete with lab coat).

A recent new trend: the RUNNERS (like the zombies featured in 28 Days Later).
Old, ruined, soiled posters are always among my favorites.
A lovely smile. Crooked teeth? No problem!
‘Change Tokyo, change Japan.” “No! Corporate donations.”
Samurai spirit,
The Joker hates foreigners.
“Against public welfare payments to foreigners.”
“In my home, I can’t afford to feed someone else’s child.”
AI mayor (?!)
Ambiguous message.
“Get rid of poverty!” OR “Get rid of the poor”?
