Good morning!
Well, it’s been a wild ride. I’d never posted for so many days in a row. I had a lot of fun, and I hope many of you liked my daily posts.
In the last two weeks I saw a young dad playing football/soccer with his son at 6:00 a.m.
I saw a tribe of egrets (usually lonely hunters) colonize a narrow river near my house and fight each other for the best hunting spots.
I saw young girls going to school
and old men jogging along the river.
I passed in front of the Totoro House, wondering how much the guy pays for electricity.
More than once, I met the guy who’s always standing near the elementary school, watching over the kids, and invariably greets every passerby.
And every day, I’ve seen the little local train.
Like the trains and boats that open and close Tokyo Story, it’s the surest sign that, whatever happens, life goes on.
I’ll keep doing my daily walks, but this is my last Life is Hard Walk post.
I’m taking a few days off and getting ready for my next big project - the biggest so far - which I’ll tell you about soon. So please stay tuned.
In the meantime, I wish you all a wonderful 2025 full of energy and good vibes.
It's been great walking with you, Gianni. Happy New Year and good luck with your new project!
I've enjoyed walking with you, Gianni!
Best wishes for the New Year!
