One of the houses I pass every day during my walks it’s now festooned and decorated for Xmas.
Yeah, they love Xmas in Japan. They will import any kind of foreign festivity as long as it looks fun and involves eating.
By the way, please note the こども110番の家 (kodomo 110-ban no ie) on the lower right corner. Not few houses in my neighborhood display this notice on their fronts, meaning that if a child (kodomo) has a situation at home or is in danger (DV, etc.) he can find refuge in those homes.
