Good morning!
Yesterday I reposted a story about junk, so I thought to show you how garbage gathering points look like in Japan - or at least in my neighborhood.
In Italy, my home country, we have big steel dumpsters with a lid. Every morning, the garbage trucks do their rounds and collect the trash.
However, in Japan trash collection is limited to certain days of the week. Also, because of lack of space and many residential streets’ narrowness, we can’t use the dumpsters.
In the past, we just left our trash on a street corner, but with armies of crows now ripping the bags apart and scavenging for food, they have come up with the nets you see in my pictures.
Have a nice day!
It looks quite neat, I have to say.
