Dear readers, I guess you all know that Tokyo Calling has a section called Otaku Tokyo that covers manga, anime, games and other things related to otaku culture (if you didn’t know, click on the Otaku Tokyo button in the upper bar).
I have been interested in otaku culture for quite some time and have even published to books on the subject: Tokyo Geek’s Guide and Otaku Japan.
I would say that every otaku fan loves all things Japanese and reads all my posts. However, I’m pretty sure that many of my general readers have no interest in manga and anime, so, every time I publish an otaku post, I don’t email it to everybody.
I’m still trying to find the best way to give my otaku posts maximum visibility while not bothering all the readers. If you have any advice, please let me know. Otherwise, I guess from now on I will only send notices with links to my otaku posts or clearly mark those stories [OTAKU] so you can delete them without open them if you are not interested.
I hope this helps.
I'm way lazier that you, but I have this thing called, a four year old. and pretty soon, in what appears to be in a couple months, she'll be at uni. stronzo dilinquente! talk about a volcano under my butt. me cago en la leche!
