Good morning.
If this season’s blue skies make people in a good mood, a look at the bare trees, the fallen leaves and the bare plots of land, like the one above, remind us that this year is nearing its end.
Today, I don’t know why, I was also reminded of my elementary school days.
I hated going to school. I liked studying, but as an introverted mama’s boy, I never wanted to leave home.
The start of every school year, in late autumn, was the worst part.
Once, in first or second grade, I even tried to escape, but I was caught before I could get past the school’s gate.
Well, those were the days.
Luckily, by the time I hit third grade, I had new friends and things got better.
What kind of kid were you? Did you like school?
I loved primary school too. It was small, the topics were interesting, I loved learning. High school not so much, it was too big, too rough, and I was way more anxious.
I loved studying too. Elementary school was good, although I was an extremely anxious, possibly Asperger child. The 3 years of Junior High (in Italy) were a relentless nightmare of bullying and verbal abuse. Luckily, my 3 final years of High School went relatively smoothly, and I absolutely loved my College years. Can't get enough of those blue skies, Gianni, cold air and sun go so well together.
