Now the problem is, if I ever manage to get another book published, shall I go for raised lettering? Because you see, I really like them. Maybe the matte-cover-with-raised-lettering combination should get the subliminal message through that I'm an intellectual who doesn't hate the masses. Duh.
Helen and I went to Hay on Wye in 1995 - we stayed at a B&B and had a wonderful time wandering around its crooked streets and buying many, many books from its many, many stores. :)

Lucky you! I would probably have a heart attack seeing all those books in just one place. And I definitely should go without my wife.
