In my experience of undokai, the relays were always hilarious -- the best I saw was the 4-person skis, which was just total slapstick.
The worst part is the senshusensei (chikai no kotoba) -- really, *every* team is going for "zettai yūshō!", something about the math makes me doubtful...

Right. In the end, I prefer my country's lazy approach to exercise. Sport is fine, but do it alone, or with your friends. And have fun.
