I can't remember the last time I saw such a blue sky here where I live, in early October, maybe. Is the air as clean as it looks, Gianni? It makes you want to spend all day walking, work be damned.

It's a beauty, isn't it?

I don't know about clean air, but late autumn and winter in Tokyo are mostly like that, "thanks" to the cold northern winds that push the clouds away. If you don't have problems walking in the cold, it's definitely much better than the miserable, hot and muggy summer season.

100% better for me too. If you dress appropriately for the weather, Autumn and Winter can be wonderful.

I suppose some Christians celebrate Christmas in Japan but what are the main holidays?

If you are talking about winter holidays, the New Year's festivities are certainly the most important ones.

However, though Christians are only 1.5% of the population (about 1.26 million in 2022), Christmas is incredibly popular here.

In this post you'll find links to a couple of articles I wrote about Christmas in Japan.
