In Italy, data on gender-based homicides show a tragic reality. According to a 2021 ISTAT (Istituto Nazionale di Statistica) report, out of 303 total homicides, 119 victims were women, of which 58.8% were killed by a partner or ex-partner.
We have those kinds of statistics in Australia. Pretty tragic wherever it happens.
